Symptoms of someone infected with COVID-19

COVID-19 has claimed many lives. As an effort to deal with the spread, it is very important for us to recognize the symptoms of COVID-19 infection, especially the initial symptoms in the first week.

COVID-19 is a viral infection that attacks the human respiratory system. Symptoms caused by this disease usually begin with mild symptoms. After that, symptoms can improve or worsen, depending on the condition of the patient’s immune system.

Some Symptoms of COVID-19 Infection in the First Week

Symptoms of a COVID-19 infection can occur within 2–14 days after exposure to the COVID-19, but most people with COVID-19 experience symptoms after 11-12 days.

Some other initial symptoms that may be felt by people with COVID-19 include discomfort in the stomach, nausea, and diarrhea, but these symptoms are not typical and are rare.

  • Have been in COVID-19 endemic areas, both at home and abroad, in the last 14 days

If you meet one of the criteria above and experience symptoms that lead to COVID-19, do self-isolation and contact the nearest hospital for further guidance. Avoid going to the hospital immediately because it can increase your risk of contracting or transmitting the virus to many people.…
